De Bloeimeesters is a group consisting of nine garden designers,
planting consultants, landscape architects and gardeners, which started in the Netherlands and is growing in international influence.
Together they have a vision for all gardens and public space to have a more varied assortment of plants that are better adapted to local conditions and deliver multiple benefits. De Bloeimeesters consider that there is a gap emerging between what is needed in the public space and what is commercially available.
“There is an enormous need for living biodiverse gardens and outdoor spaces that are climate-adaptive,” says Cor Van Gelderen, designer, advisor, speaker, book writer and recently also ‘mentor’ to De Bloeimeesters.
